The models at the recent Pageant of Dress at The Bowes Museum looked
very professional and entirely confident in their outfits, despite only
having had a short time in which to learn the basics of catwalk
presentation. It was fascinating to watch some who were rather shy,
nervous girls on arrival transform rapidly into elegant and poised
models, thoroughly relishing the opportunity to show off the clothes. I
am most grateful to Belinda Alexander for the training she gave them.
